“HENDERSON HISTORY OF THE 62ND WEBSITE”

When it comes to finding almost anything out about the 62nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment there are two primary resources that we look to first…one is the regimental history of the 62nd written by our late friend Ernest D. Spisak entitled “PITTSBURGH’S FORGOTTEN CIVIL WAR REGIMENT: A HISTORY OF THE 62ND PENNSYLVANIA VOLUNTEER INFANTRY & THE MEN WHO SERVED WITH DISTINCTION”…the other is the “Henderson Site”, a very comprehensive website dedicated to the 62nd PA Volunteers, complete with rosters by Company or alphabetically, photos of those available, unit formation and engagements, special interest stories, and all provided by John Henderson, descendant of John Henderson of Company D…John has always been accessible any time we’ve reached out, willing to add images or information if provided, and all at your fingertips with a simple link or search…
