The 62nd PA Volunteer Infantry Living History Family travelled to Gettysburg in November of 2022 for the Remembrance Day ceremonies, always a very moving event marking the dedication of the Soldier’s National Cemetery and President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address in November of 1863. We participated in the Remembrance Day Parade and Illumination at the Soldiers’ National Cemetery, and of course held a respectful ceremony and laying of the Wheat Sheaf at the 62nd PA Volunteer Infantry monument in The Wheatfield.
