Gettysburg Remembrance Day 2023

From Katie Wolfe- Sincere apologies for the lateness of this post! But as we look ahead to our next year of representing the 62nd PVI, I wanted to post some pictures from our events at the end of 2023, specifically the Gettysburg Remembrance Day Wheatfield Tribute Ceremony, Remembrance Day Parade, and Honor Guard Duty at the Soldiers National Cemetery. Remembrance Day is always a moving experience, and last year was no different! Thank you to all who participated and contributed the wonderful photos!

Christmas at the Armstrong County Historical Museum Open House 2023

The 62nd PVI LHF also participated in the annual Christmas Open House at the Armstrong County Historical Museum & Genealogical Society, welcoming guests to both the museum and the newly re-furnished original 1800s log cabin! As we shared the story of the 62nd PVI with guests, the Christmas spirit was all around. Here’s to a great year in 2024- the 30th anniversary of our living history family!!
